RiotsTeesta Setalvad plotted the death sentence for Narendra Modi in 2002

The Setalvad family conspired to defame the Gujarat government.

In connection with the post-Godhra riots in 2002, Narendra Modi received a death sentence.

A Special Investigation Team (SIT) filed a charge sheet alleging this.

The charge sheet against Setalvad, a former Director General of Police, includes 100 pages of allegations. 

Former Indian Police Service officer Sanjiv Bhatt was brought before an Ahmedabad court. 

In connection with allegations that he fabricated evidence during the riots in 2009.

According to the SIT, the indictment alleges that the accused conspired to impose the death penalty on then Chief Minister Narendra Modi. 

RB Sreekumar and Sanjeev Bhatt created fake documents for Teesta and added them to official entries, according to the report. 

The accuser sought to damage Narendra Modi's reputation and prevent him from continuing in politics.

According to the charge sheet, an army of attorneys was employed to produce fictitious affidavits and papers.
